Hi, I'm Connor
Connor Diffley
Filmmaking is a team effort, I’ve had the privilege to be able to work with and alongside some very talented people in the film industry. I want to celebrate their hard work, observe their skill and share it with an audience. I am a Unit Stills photographer and I want to help people share their stories through photography. I truly believe that photos can give us the time to look and reflect on people free from any pressure and without any reservation. By observing people openly, we can understand how they make us feel.

Highlights from Connor
In 2023/24 my photography was featured in The British Cinematographer publication twice which was a very proud moment for me, the cast and crew I worked with. From that production I am now due to work aboard on another feature imminently.
I find it hard to narrow it down to one favourite photographer because there are many however there are two or three whose work I also enjoy no matter what mood I am in and they are Elliot Erwitt and William Eggleston.
The same goes for films & directors, so hard to choose! Badlands by Terrence Malick is one of my all-time favourite films. I was brought up on Starwars: A New Hope and I’m a big fan of Michael Mann.
More recently though, Denis Villeneuve’s Dune was incredible. I also really miss the nerdy conversations with friends about Game Of Thrones predictions!

What a nice dude
Really cool guy and easy to work with. Takes great photos too, have used him since and will again!
A pleasure to work with and great shots!
Connor was our stills photographer during the production of the short film “Officer Down” in December 2019. It was a tough location to shoot in – a cavernous, cold warehouse – and the limited daylight hours at that time of year meant we had to move very quickly between set-ups, but Connor did a great job navigating all of that. He was very easy-going, a pleasure to work with and took some great stills for us that proved invaluable in the promotion of the film and during its festival run. Good stills can be very easily forgotten/not prioritised on such an independent, fast-paced shoot because you’re so focused on just getting the film in the can – but again Connor made great use of his time with us and took some great shots that were a huge help later. Would certainly use him again.
