Hi, I'm Jeremy

Jeremy Pelzer

It’s hard to ignore the shared aesthetics, disciplines and technical attributes between film and photography; there’s an overlapping connectedness.

Jeremy is based in London, UK, and has photographed professionally for over ten years, including unit stills on features and short films. Leaving college in the early 1990s, one of his first roles in the film industry was as a still photographer’s assistant.

“Filmmaking may be my profession, though after thirty years of location unit management, studio development and unit stills work, photography remains my passion.”

My Bio

As a freelancer, working both in the UK and abroad, over the past twenty-eight years Jeremy has worked on numerous US Studio features including the Harry Potter series, Gulliver’s Travels, Kick Ass, Tomb Raider, 102 Dalmatians, The World is Not Enough, Star Wars, Tomorrow Never Dies, Entrapment and Goldeneye.

Over the course of his career, Jeremy has been integral to the development of a number of UK film studios, including Leavesden, 3 Mills, Ealing and Elstree Studios. From September 2020, Jeremy has been engaged as a Senior Advisor, at the British Film Commission (BFC), leading on support provided for a range of studio developments throughout the UK’s nations and regions.

Highlights from Jeremy

An Associate member of the Royal Photographic Society, whilst studying for his degree in photography, Jeremy was fortunate to have a series he produced published in the RPS Journal, in March 2013.
