Jeremy Pelzer
“Filmmaking may be my profession, though after thirty years in the film industry, photography remains my passion”.
Based in the UK, Jeremy has photographed professionally for over a decade, including unit stills on features, commercials and shorts.
After leaving college in the early 1990s, one of his first roles in the film industry was as a still photographer’s assistant, carrying bags for Keith Hamshere on ‘Goldeneye’.

“Collaborating with filmmakers to capture scenes in still imagery, replicating motion picture and documenting the process, create devices for discovery, it’s hard to ignore the shared aesthetics, disciplines and technical attributes between film and photography; there’s an overlapping connectedness.”
Over the course of his career, between freelance projects and assignments, Jeremy has also been integral in the development of a number of UK film studios, including Leavesden, 3 Mills, Ealing and Elstree Studios.
From September 2020, Jeremy worked with the British Film Commission as a Senior Advisor, leading on support provided for a range of new studio expansions and developments throughout the UK’s nations and regions.
