Thanks for clicking by! I’m a German based unit still photographer. Since 1994 I have been on national and international film sets hunting for the best moments that can tell the story in one picture. The one image that compresses the film into a single photo. Sometimes it’s a movie still, but sometimes it’s also gallery shot that can sum up the film, that provides the one moment you need for building up your key art. Delivering key visuals is my passion…
Highlights from Gordon
that was certainly the creation of three minutes of feature film with the help of a photo story. For the film “In July” by Fatih Akin we made a trip through Romania during which we created a photo story. The template was the photo story in “Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid”. So we had a clue how many photos we need, how long a photo has to stand, what speed you need to understand the photos and the context. It is really different to create the content of a film than to just capture the content for the key art. And it’s a different experience to travel with the director and the actors in small team to create movie content.

No doubt one of the best unit photographers Germany has to offer
As Head of PR & Communication at W&B Television and Wiedemann & Berg Film, I regularly hired Gordon for unit photography for major projects, including the Amazon fantasy series THE GRYPHON, the sci-fi series TRIBES OF EUROPA for Netflix, the event series BLACKOUT for Joyn or the German Television Award-winning series PARA – WE ARE KING for Warner TV. He is also aboard the international cinema project GIRL YOU KNOW IT’S TRUE by Wiedemann & Berg and Simon Verhoeven. Working with Gordon has always been fantastic. Not only does he take wonderful pictures, he is also highly professional and great on all interpersonal levels, on set as well as “behind the camera”. Gordon’s workflow regarding preparation, providing the pictures via his own website or post-production of the stills is excellent. He is straightforward, trusting, transparent and honest. No doubt one of the best unit photographers Germany has to offer.
