Jason Tozier

I am an oddball when it comes to film. I love absurdity. When in film school while everyone was doing presentation on favorite directors, I did mine on Mel Brooks. But when it comes to photography, being a nature person I have always looked up to Ansel Adams.

One of the best moments I’ve had on set was when I was in Washington working on “The Most Dangerous Game”. We were on location just barely waking up when this amazing mixture of fog and sunlight rolled in and created a look that a $100 million feature couldn’t replicate. I have worked with the DoP before and we both got our cameras and were able to capture stunning stills and shots. Nothing like running through the forest in the morning with perfect lighting to get the blood flowing.
