“Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event as well as of a precise organisation of forms which give that event its proper expression.” (Henri Cartier-Bresson)

I’m a still photographer based in Montreal, Canada. If I had to chose between movies and photography, I wouldn’t be able to because I love them both with the same intensity. So for me, working on film sets means I get the best of both worlds, as well as take part into the creative chaos that makes a cinematic production so exciting. For over a decade, I’ve had the opportunity to work on indie films, documentaries and the most recent production I joined was The Lost City, a Paramount feature starring Sandra Bullock, Brad Pitt, Channing Tatum and Daniel Radcliffe. Have a look at some of my work and don’t hesitate to contact me. I look forward to collaborating with…

It’s hard to ignore the shared aesthetics, disciplines and technical attributes between film and photography; there’s an overlapping connectedness.

Dia dhuit! I’m Daniel and for the better part of the last 20 years I’ve had my face behind a camera… But it was in front of a lens, lying in a muddy field in Wicklow encircled by stomping hooves and clashing weapons, that I heard my calling. “No one is getting this angle, I’m the only one that will ever see this” I thought. That was on “Vikings” in my green days on set. I soon learned that Unit Stills Photographer is a real job. Not “a” job, “The” job. The one job that perfectly aligns my passions for photography and filmmaking. Since then I’ve had the privilege to work background on many of the biggest film sets in…

In my first 10 years shooting stills I’ve been constantly looking for different ways to tell the same story as the motion camera. Instead of seeing the constraints of unit photography, I prefer to look for the opportunities to find another angle, a different sliver of light, or an Actor’s expression that the motion camera missed. I honour this craft and the people I capture.

Hello! I am unit stills photographer, busy building my portfolio and experience. I’m based mostly in the South East region of the UK, but I’m happy to travel. I have a passion for dynamic and compelling imagery and I take a story-based approach to the art of Unit Stills photography. ‘A picture speaks a thousand words’ is a cliche for a reason, and if those words accurately market a film, establish a character or theme or even just an atmosphere, then the photograph is doing its job well.

Hi, my name is Tiziano, but you can call me ‘T’ because it’s easy to remember! I’m a Los Angeles-based photographer who has been looking through the lens for 13 years. In 2019, I fell deeply in love with unit stills photography while working on a feature film in Canada, and from that moment, the love never ended. I’ve been shooting feature films, short films, and lately, music videos. Capturing the moments on set telling stories through images is what makes me really happy, and you can see that on my face whenever I am on set, no matter how many hours I’m shooting!
