Tony Timmington

I did a course at Birmingham School of Photography. At Features International and Syndicated Features I photographed almost everything you could think of. These two companies serviced newspapers all over the world. It was during this period that I did some film and actor stills and portraits . On the train one day I met the Art Director of Ideal Home magazine. He offered to give me a trial shoot. It was this experience that changed the course of my life away from the film world. I went on to work for most the interior magazines. To cut a long story short. I worked for BBC publications, Wrote and illustrated features for Camera User magazine, worked for Radio Times, TV Times, Auto Express magazine etc. I recently did some unit stills for director Yuri Fernandes. I found this exciting and fun and realised this is what I was meant to do.
