Hi, I'm Rebecca

My Bio

I’m an NZIPP-accredited photographer, Sony Digital Imaging Advocate, and have been working as a professional photographer for a decade. Prior to my photography career I was the Communications Manager for the New Zealand International Film Festival. I led the publicity and communications for this premier event in Aotearoa for nearly a decade. It was this career that honed my eye for film stills that tell stories, director’s portraits that show personality, and behind-the-scenes imagery that captures the spirit of the filmmaking process.

Highlights from Rebecca

“Taking stills on a film shoot is never easy at the best of times. With the cast and crew focussed on achieving the film as their priority, it can be very tricky to take a hero still shot which is as needed as the film itself. It takes diplomacy, speed and tenacity to be able to move seamlessly with the crew, take the shot as fast as you can and then blend back into the background. Rebecca possesses these skills to get what is needed and not interrupt the process of film making. She is amazing.” — Sharlene George, Producer
