Hello! I’m Kristin. Splitting my time between Calgary and Edmonton, I enjoy taking photos of cool people doing cool things. My experience includes both independent and union productions, including feature films, TV shows, and documentaries. No matter the scale of the project, I’m always happy to jump on set and capture the story!

My Bio

Hey! I’m Kristin. I take photos of people on film sets, stages, and everywhere in between.

With my background in film and my love for music, I found my passion in music & still photography. There’s something beautiful about capturing a scene in front of you while having no control over it and remaining practically invisible. I’m grateful to work with such creative people and capture them all at work.

My credits include independent and union productions, ranging from feature films, TV shows, and documentaries. I have experience photographing stunt action, low light performances, crowded sets, art department photos, and much more.

My previous experience working in the production office has allowed me to understand and appreciate the full process of a film, and given me valuable insight that I take with me every day to set.

Highlights from Kristin

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing actors such as Juno Temple, Amber Marshall, Joel Oulette, and Shaun Johnston in my beautiful home province of Alberta, where the location scenery is unmatched. I’ve captured the prairies of Turner Valley, the peaks of the Rocky Mountains, the downtown cores of Calgary and Edmonton, and many places in between.

My first film with a BUDGET still had very little margin for error. Kristin was on set for one day of a 2 day shoot and managed to capture the characters and feel of the in a very small space and time. I know it’s thanks to her photos our film got noticed and screened. Will be working with her again.
