Highlights from James
I feel like each production or shoot I work on is a highlight however I especially get a kick out of my work being published or syndicated. Recently some of my work was in Variety, Deadline, New York Post, Vogue and NME amongst others.
Before working on the short film To Have and To Hold, I was lucky enough to do a zoom call with the Director & Writer, where she shared her vision and mood for the film. I found this incredibly rewarding as I was able to bring my own ideas to the table for shots and suggest poster ideas too. I know this isn’t often the standard, but I found it productive and felt part of the team before I even got on set.
Shooting in Budapest on ‘Archive’ was a treat too, as I love to travel with work, even if we were in sub-zero temperatures more often than not.

Unit stills and BTS on Oscar shortlisted short ‘GOOD BOY’
I had the pleasure of working with James on the comedy-drama short ‘Good Boy’, that we shot independently in Glastonbury in April 2023. James’s eye for on-set stills and ability to both create and capture story moments helped wonders, not only when it came to having assets for key poster art, but in representing the project on its Oscar push when we found ourselves up against industry giants.
‘BONUS TRACK’ film, unit stills
James was friendly, professional, and put the actors at ease, coming up with stills that beautifully captured the film and behind the scenes. He went above and beyond for our small indie film, and was a total pleasure to have on set! I highly recommend him to any production.
Stills on a short shoot
James was amazing on our short film shoot – super professional and totally respectful of the very tight shooting schedule for the film crew. He got in to some very small spaces behind camera set ups to take some fantastic and atmospheric stills. I’ve recommended him to other filmmakers. Great to work with and also super responsive about getting stills over against tight deadlines.
