Jack Merriman
I’m a unit stills photographer based in London and the UK.
My favourite place to be is on a film or TV set – to me, they are magical places filled with possibility.
My roots are in documentary photography so storytelling is in my DNA. Whether providing great images that enhance a story or giving a behind-the-scenes peek at the process of putting it all together.
I pride myself on working quickly and quietly to build up a bank of images for the production company and marketing team which meets their needs as well as the vision of the Director and Cinematographer..

Highlights from Jack
Two of the biggest highlights in my career so far have been portrait sessions with Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Roger Moore. Both have made so many films that are just engrained in my DNA. It was a privilege to work with them.
I’ll never forget spending an hour with Roger hearing some of his stories from the Bond days – I’ll treasure it for ever.
My work has been published in The Times, The Telegraph, Evening Standard, The Express, The Daily Mail, The Independent, The New York Times, Time Out.
