Highlights from Catherine
Despite the term spent studying New German Cinema in college, some of my favourite movies remain resolutely mainstream. It was The Empire Strikes Back that got me hooked on how films got made, I queued around the block three times for Ghostbusters (such a child of the 80s) and I will watch The Transporter, Zoolander and Pitch Perfect any time they’re on TV. I love a Villeneuve or Tarantino production as much as the next film nerd but sometimes you just need easy watching.
So far I’ve shot in the glamorous surroundings of Farringdon Studios in London and a one-bedroom flat in Shepherd’s Bush. Both productions are currently in post and it would be nice to venture outside the M25 at some point.
