Camila Mata Lara

Camila Mata Lara was born on July 08, 1992 in Mexico City. She studied Photography throughout her life. She was editor of collaborative books “Migración 2.0”, “Ser mujer en Latinoamérica” and “Coronalibro” I and II of the Autonomous Metropolitan University. She was exhibited at Slideluck Mexico with Spencer Tunick, in “Feria de Arte Diez” at Fotomuseo Cuatro Caminos and at Fotografas Latam’s “Latinas, le monde vu par les femmes d’Amerique Latine” exhibition in Paris. She has been published in various collaborative books in Mexico, Argentina and Canada.

As of 2019 to date she is co-partner and creator of Aura Books, a photographic studio located in Mexico City. And since 2018 to date, she has worked as Still Photographer in various films, commercials and series, for Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Apple TV and Netflix such as Ni tuyo ni mía, Control Z, Todo lo invisible, Amarres, Tinder Swipe Night, Teleton, Spotify, Canon, Splenda, Penguin, Shell, Hormel, Ambulancia, among others.
